AWARENESS • ACCESS • DIGNITY

Know your rights. Understand your options.

In India, the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993 defines human rights in terms of life, liberty, equality and dignity. AURA’s role is educational and charitable: we promote awareness, listen to concerns, help people understand lawful pathways and refer matters to competent authorities or qualified professionals when appropriate.

HOW WE RECEIVE & REFER HUMAN-RIGHTS CONCERNS

From listening to a lawful referral

1. Receive

Write to support@auraclarion.org with “Human Rights Concern” and a short factual summary. You may request confidentiality.

2. Understand

We identify the basic facts, dates, authority involved, immediate safety issues and whether the matter is already before a court or statutory commission.

3. Refer

Where appropriate, we guide the person toward the National/State Human Rights Commission, police, court, Legal Services Authority or another competent body. NHRC's own online complaint system asks for incident, authority and relief details.

4. Follow lawful process

AURA does not adjudicate complaints, issue binding directions, investigate like a statutory commission or guarantee a particular outcome.

Safety first: If there is an immediate threat to life or safety, contact emergency services rather than waiting for an email response.
OUR SHARED PURPOSE

A Strong Nation Is Built Together.

Dignity, justice, accountability and compassion grow when people know their rights, act responsibly and help one another reach lawful remedies.
