Orientation

Understand AURA CLARION’s charitable objects, safeguarding standards, confidentiality expectations and role boundaries.

Role allocation

Volunteers may support awareness, administration, research, events, outreach or other approved activities according to their skills.

Safeguarding

Work involving children or vulnerable persons is subject to appropriate safeguards, supervision and referral requirements.

We welcome volunteers who want to support AURA CLARION's mission in their own town, village, college, workplace or community — with empathy, integrity and respect for lawful boundaries.

What volunteers can do

  • Men, family and wellbeing awareness programmes
  • Events, digital media and local coordination

Volunteer ethics

  • Listen without prejudice or promises.
  • Protect personal information and never publish a person's story without appropriate consent.
  • Do not give legal, medical or psychological advice unless professionally qualified and authorised to do so.
  • Do not investigate, threaten, pressure or confront alleged offenders.
  • Do not collect money or documents on behalf of AURA without written authorisation.
  • Safeguard children and vulnerable people and report safeguarding concerns through the approved channel.
  • Never fabricate evidence, coach testimony or encourage unlawful conduct.

Volunteers will be considered for suitable roles and orientation. Acceptance as a volunteer does not authorise independent case handling or representation.

Our principle: Volunteers serve the mission; they do not replace the police, courts, statutory commissions, lawyers, doctors, counsellors or other qualified professionals.
