CONFIDENTIALITY • SAFEGUARDING

Protection & Confidentiality

Our approach is confidentiality-conscious, proportionate and subject to applicable law.

01

Need-to-know access

We aim to limit unnecessary internal access to identity and case information to people who need it for legitimate handling, safeguarding or referral.

02

Data minimisation

Share only information reasonably necessary for the concern. Avoid passwords, OTPs and unrelated personal records.

03

Lawful disclosure

Confidentiality is not absolute. Disclosure may be required by law, court order, safeguarding obligations or a competent authority.

About anonymity

AURA’s ordinary email channel can support a request for confidentiality, but it is not a guaranteed anonymous or encrypted reporting system. If you need a statutory reporting mechanism, use the relevant competent authority. We will not claim protections that the law does not provide.
